Thanks for 章超(ofoto studio),宠物同谋(Pet Conspiracy),5MinS(PSD & Angel),任航,Mino,Vivian,shierly,兔子先生!Introduction of "Blind"
With the software photoshop, I illustrated 10 models I shot into strange portraits covered with gorgeous insects in their eyes. They looked like dark infants or virtual human in computer games.
The inspiration for this series works came from the illusion of the laser surgery on my eyes in February of this year. I was found having something wrong in my eyes. I still remeber in the dark how panic I was scaring of losing my sight which means that I could never take pictures . Several days later my eyes recovered compeletely, but I could not stop recalling the illusions: I saw the beautiful butterflies, bees and colorful hallucinations in my eyes clearly and conld not help wondering:
does blindness and hallucinations some kind of truth? The purpose I took these pictures is to make people feel the visual pressure and discomfort in order to examine their own heart, life, perspective and how they value themselves.
Buddhism told us: All marks are false and unsubstantial. This works also reflects the the relationship between fragile body and the cruel reality outside the world ,which is between the unity of opposites. Also it questiones a doubt that if the eyes can see the truth.

a photographic project , reactivated
January 2009
"Here is a color based project related to hasard & photography. A special attention hold during my travels surrounded many occasions to catch 'fake twins' situations. The tourism conditions we all have to deal with, deliberately or not, during our journeys, carry a very specific garment equipment away in order to face the long days of unknown landscape's exploration. Not only talking about the almost mandatory sneackers, or rucksacks (but why not), people often happen in a situation wearing exactly the same outfits, or at least one very similar item in it. Couples buying a special jacket for the occasion, friends hasardly wearing the same stuff that day, whatever...
In order to focus, and reveal those inherent situations, i started to take photographs of the 'fake twins' i met during my trips; people's back as a more accurate point of view, centered in the frame; and i related them with the specific color worn, to explore the whole RGB spectrum at our disposal.
Pushing now the project a step further, i put it online today and open the subscriptions to make it grown.
Then at a more longer term, a publication will be produced as a photography book of the whole stuff."
