 Soft-porn photographer Renhang Solo Exhibition Opening Party ＆ Rock Guest Performance

 Preface:

         Erotica is no more than a "Jacket". All the expressions of photographer Renhang come out of an unidentified black hole deep within his brain. With a pair of black wings, he’s searching for light in desperation. Whenever stand by the entrance of a tiny ray of light, we are always easily stroken by the bizarrerie he created. Renhang’s photography is more like the works of art arising from simply the action "Shoot". Right here hidden behind the camera, he’s swinging his lens as substitutes for consciousness and sense of touch. As we did, for touching love and desire, he split his emotion into pieces.

    Between of this, as if it was not solely strange to simple, the energetic of multi-layered fission and unstable has been quietly occurs.

Wrods by Renhang:

        These works are not from long time's illusion which produced hidden attack.It is forced by the reality and society which has a strong tension followed by the centrifugal force. The utism, mental disorders are what  I witnessed and where I did heart skin test on  . It is also a high-density aggregation physiology signs in  the shortest time of allergic reaction.  Where there is light , the shadow's tip of the tongue stretch into the extreme darkness to lick the restless screaming and applause. The wounds are blooming in the  low world until the explosion of dust  and blossom of  flowers in the bone marrow.  Who hunted us ? The hands which open your eyes are  full of  fragrant paint.  Fingerprint are everywhere which are very similar to the  pictographic characters. Thus I lost my creativity and ruined myself again. (This  exhibition should be an event  to celebrate the victory and  the extracts of all the bright organ.)

Mino:What drove you to take this series of photographs? Is this work inspired by a sparkling thought? What made you choose this model ? Is this any potential " love affair " existing between you and him ?

Renhang: This work is an illustration of dreams.I often dreamed of fish,and my life always relates to water.I love him, that's why I chose him.

Mino:(You said) your life always related to water .How is that?

Renhang: If you have no feeling to toward a person, an object or a color, then it will never catches your attention.My photos are more like expressing loves and I belive sadness is the most basic form of love.Because of that , I try to describe a substantial amount of sadness in order to show the basic emotion of love. However, I never felt I did a great job,so I again and again want to overturn the previous creation. I was like living in a "sail-less" and "rudder-less" boat and I never knew where to drift .If there is no wind, I would settle still, depends,it could be one or two days,or might be a couple of years. I wouder why I am not the wind.

Mino:Why do you mingle the two topics--"fish and sex"--in your work?

Renhang: All living beings have something to do with "sex",and the sex is the origin of the world.If there is no sex ,the world would not have existed.

Mino: We all see the sexuality has been embedden in (your) works.What's your perspective on "sex"and"taboo"?

Renhang: Why can't people make love with fish? It's quite mundane or normal, I don't think this part should be a catchy point for my work,as there are too many these kind of things, among art classification in particular. If I shot a series of  photos describing incest love between a guy and his mother who got pregnant and gave birth to the guy's father,then it might be something worthy of mentioning.In China, sex if drugs.
